Purpose of Formulation:

Ingredients:
A mixture of 50% Cayenne (90,000 HU) and 50% Hawthorne Leaf(0.8% Vitexin)

Cayenne is a pepper that has been traditionally used in alternative medicine to warm and improve blood circulation to all parts of the body. Cayenne helps to regulate the heart, as well as blood pressure. This medicinal extract boosts blood circulation and is thought to normalize both high and low blood pressure. It apparently increases heart action without increasing blood pressure, and Cayenne reportedly significantly lowers serum cholesterol and triglycerides. Furthermore, the herb is considered to be a catalyst herb that increases the efficacy of almost all other herbs or herbal product combinations. Hawthorne Leaf is a wonderful and trusted cardiac tonic that is used to lower blood pressure, reduce cholesterol, and significantly enhance blood circulation to the heart and brain. Scientific research has identified two ways in which the herb may work. It appears to lower cholesterol, and since there is less platelet aggregation from cholesterol (blood clotting) in the arteries, this action allows the blood to flow more freely and reach the brain's tissues. Hawthorne reduces cholesterol and regulates blood pressure (both high and low), but when taken for at least eight weeks, is thought to be effective in lowering pressure, since its action develops slowly. It also appears to increase the liver's conversion of LDLs (bad cholesterol) into HDLs (good cholesterol) that do not clog arteries, which helps to stop plaque formation leading to platelet aggregation (clotting). Freer flowing blood is beneficial in the prevention of arteriosclerosis, high blood pressure, heart attack and strokes. Recommended Dosage:
Take two (2) capsules, two (2) times each day with water at mealtimes.

Contraindications:
Avoid large doses (many times the recommended dosage) when pregnant and nursing. This product may potentiate the effects of some pharmaceutical heart medications - consult with your physician before using this product, as the medication dosage may need to be lowered. Use with caution in cases of colitis and ulcers.
