Support for Vertigo/Motion Sickness/Nausea is a wonderfully formulated alternative medicine that provides relief from the symptoms of nausea resulting from motion sickness, morning sickness, and other stomach disorders. This blend of herbs also helps support the relief from the symptoms of dizziness and vertigo. The herbs iin this blend have also been reported to effectively provide relief from headaches, remedy certain learning disabilities, and have also been effective in eliminating diarrhea symptoms. Conditions like inner-ear infections, headache, fever and inflammations can cause nausea indirectly. Most medications for nausea attempt to treat the nervous system, or they aim at neutralizing the nauseating toxins in the stomach. Our blend of herbs works to support both levels, thus providing relief.

Herbal Ingredient Information: The following information is a brief overview describing each of the above herbal ingredients and what properties each contributes to make up this proprietary blend.
Ginger Root is a wonderful and time-honored remedy for nausea. It is frequently used to settle a queasy stomach, control vomiting and colic, ease morning sickness, motion sickness, and seasickness (some research showed it to be even better than DramamineT). Ginger Root stimulates blood circulation, offering pain relief, increased joint mobility, decreased swelling and morning stiffness. Other pain-killing benefits attributed to Ginger include treatment of migraine headaches, menstrual cramps, and the cramping caused by constipation. Ginger is said to increase the absorption and efficacy of other herbs and drugs that are taken with it. (Click here for more information on Ginger Root)
Peppermint is a stimulant that acts more powerfully on the system than any liquor, quickly diffusing through the system and bringing back to the body its natural warmth and glow. It is helpful in cases of sudden fainting or dizziness with extreme coldness and pale countenance. This quality is useful in alleviating chills and the symptoms of colds, flu, and rheumatism, especially in winter. Peppermint may help treat insomnia, and people with headaches have found Peppermint effective when they accompany it with a short nap. Peppermint slightly anesthetizes the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract, easing the discomforts of indigestion, including heartburn, hiccups, flatulence, and stomachache. Peppermint calms a queasy stomach and is good for nausea and vomiting. It is said to be especially calming for the lower bowel and has been helpful in relieving diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome. Licorice Root provides support for good digestion and a healthy gastrointestinal system. As a demulcent, the herb soothes the mucous membranes and protects the stomach and intestines. It has been known to restrain the secretion of gastric acid by coating it with mucus, reduce the activity of pepsin, and inhibit enzymes that dismantle prostaglandins, which will help the stomach and upper intestine, allowing ulcers to heal more quickly. This activity may also protect the colon and treat ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, gastritis, and peptic ulcer. (Click here for more information on Licorice Root)
Valerian Root is an anodyne that relieves pain and reduces sensitivity of the nerves. It helps recovery from shock and sudden emotional distress, and relieves the harsh effects of rehabilitation for many addicts. The herb is also an old-time nervine and remedy for St. Vitus Dance, vertigo, fainting, epilepsy, and convulsions. Valerian Root has been thought to benefit those who suffer from irritable bowel syndrome and other problems of the intestines and stomach because of its relaxant properties. Valerian appears to increase peristalsis in the intestines (contraction and relaxing of muscles), which moves things along more easily. The herb also prevents fermentation in the stomach and decreases gas and intestinal colic. As an antispasmodic, Valerian Root helps to alleviate muscle, intestinal, and menstrual cramps. (Click here for more information on Valerian Root)
Catnip is an old and reliable support for the digestive system. The herb is said to promote gastric juices that stimulate the digestive process and the movement of food and infection out of the digestive tract. It is also said to pep up the appetite, ease dyspepsia, expel gas, calm an upset stomach, ease nervous indigestion and colic, and alleviate an acid stomach. Catnip is believed to be an antispasmodic that will help to relieve chronic coughing and alleviate abdominal and menstrual cramping. As a mild anodyne, Catnip is thought to relieve overall pain, including headaches (particularly associated with nerves). (Click here for more information on Catnip)
Cayenne is an overall digestive aid that stimulates the production of gastric juices, clears excess mucus from the stomach, helps to alleviate stomach ulcers from within, improves the appetite and relieves nausea from seasickness. It is also a carminative that helps to relieve gas. Cayenne is called a carrier or catalyst herb that increases the efficacy of almost every other herb or herbal combination. Cayenne relieves pain (taken both internally and applied topically). It provides natural heat, and its ingredient, capsaicin, is a strong pain-relieving agent that alleviates the joint pain of arthritis, rheumatism, muscle spasms, cramps, and bowel pain. In addition, Cayenne/Capsicum triggers the release of endorphins by the brain, chemicals that relieve pain that may be helpful in treating cluster headaches.
